The Best Walnut Banana Bread

This banana bread recipe is moist and filled with banana flavor. It's super easy to make and is a great way to use those extra ripe bananas that are sitting on your counter!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Large Extra Ripe Bananas
  • ½ Cup Butter melted
  • ¾ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Chopped Walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl mash the bananas using a fork or a potato masher. Set aside.
  • In a stand mixer cream the mashed bananas, melted butter, and eggs until light and fluffy.
  • Add in granulated sugar and brown sugar and beat until combined.
  • Pour in the vanilla extract and milk until fully combined.
  • Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while mixing until well combined.
  • With a spatula stir in the walnuts.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 55 minutes to an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cover if the top of the banana bread is becoming too brown.
  • Allow banana bread to cool for 10 minutes before removing for loaf pan. Slice and enjoy.
