preheat oven to 350℉ degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In an electric mixer beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy. (about 3 minutes)
Add in the eggs and vanilla and beat on a low speed until combined.
Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
Add in the dry ingredients slowly until well combined and fold in chocolate chips.
Drop dough balls onto lined baking sheet using a cookie scoop. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the edges are a little crispy.
Let the cookies cool for a few minutes and dig in!
