Whether that be a warm coffee or an iced coffee. This iced strawberry latte offers a balance of sweetness along with just the right amount of caffeine to get you through the day. Make this strawberry latte for a cozy morning or for an afternoon pick me up. Whatever the case might be you know you’ll be enjoying a yummy, iced latte!

How to Make a Strawberry Latte with Strawberry Cold Foam

Homemade Strawberry Syrup:

  1. In a medium saucepan bring the water, granulated sugar, and sliced strawberries to a boil. Reduce heat. Let simmer for 10 minutes stirring often.
  2. Strain the strawberries and pour the syrup into a container and set aside for later.

Strawberry Latte:

  1. Pull 1-2 shots of espresso (depending on how strong you want the latte) and stir in one tablespoon of brown sugar to sweeten. Set aside to cool.
  2. Fill a glass with one cup of ice. (The bigger the ice cubes the slower it will take the ice to melt leaving your latte less diluted and watered down). Add in one tablespoon of your strawberry syrup to the glass.
  3. Pour the milk in the glass first and then pour over the espresso.

Strawberry Cold foam:

  1. In a small glass add in your strawberry syrup, heavy cream, and half and half. Froth the mixture until thick and fluffy.
  2. Pour the cold foam over the latte and enjoy!

Substitutions and Variations

Milk: You can use any dairy you’d like for this recipe including nondairy milk. Oat milk, almond milk, coconut milk, or even soy milk. This latte can be made for people with special dietary needs as well!

Espresso: If you don’t have an espresso machine brew half a cup of very strong brewed coffee. This latte isn’t limited to only people who have espresso machines!

Strawberry Syrup: Although homemade strawberry syrup is so much better than store bought strawberry syrup (as with most things) you can always buy strawberry syrup from a grocery store and use that instead of making it homemade.

How to Make a Hot Strawberry Latte

This delicious latte can be made hot or cold. Here are instructions on how to make a hot strawberry latte

  • Pour 8 ounces of milk into a coffee cup. Add 2-3 tablespoons of your homemade strawberry syrup to the milk. (The more syrup you add the sweeter the latte will be)
  • Brew a strong pot of coffee or use an espresso machine to brew 2 shots of espresso to pour over the milk.
  • Top with the cold foam for a delicious frothy layer.

  • 1 Cup Thinly Sliced Strawberries
  • 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Strawberry Espresso

  • 1-2 Shots Espresso
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar To Sweeten
  • 8 oz Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Homemade Strawberry Syrup
  • 1 Cup Ice

Strawberry Cold Foam

  • 1 Tablespoons Homemade Strawberry Syrup
