- Cherry Tomatoes
- Basil Pesto
- Garlic
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper

How to Make Chicken Pesto Pasta
- Cook the pasta: First you’ll want to cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salt water. Once the pasta is finished drain and set aside for later.
- Cut and season the chicken: Next you’ll want to cut up the chicken into small cubes. Season the chicken with pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Cook the chicken: Over medium heat drizzle the olive oil on a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes or until it’s fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside for later.
- Cook the garlic and tomatoes: In the same skillet add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add to the skillet cooking for 2-3 minutes.

Creamy Chicken Pesto Pasta with Tomatoes
Ingredients
- 12 oz Penne Pasta
- 1 lb Chicken Breast
- 1/2 Cup Half and Half
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
- 6 oz Basil Pesto
- 1/2 Cup Cherry Tomatoes
- 3 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil.
- Add the pasta and let cook for 7-9 minutes or until the pasta is al dente.
- Strain the water from the pasta and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and once hot add one tablespoon olive oil.
- Add the chicken and season with pepper and Italian season. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. Reaching 165°. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and cook until fragrant. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add to the skillet cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Lower the temperature to low and stir in half and half, parmesan cheese, and basil pesto until fully combined.
- Lastly add in cooked chicken and pasta and stir until the pasta and chicken are fully coated with the pesto sauce.
