If I’m being honest, I’m not a huge fan of basil. I’m not sure what it is about it that I don’t like very much. Caprese salad is one of the only ways you will find me eating basil. LOL. The bold flavors that come together make the basil taste so much better than if I were to eat it in another recipe. I also love that this salad is red, white, and blue. It’s super festive and fun for the 4th of July or even for Memorial day!
