Of course, the day before spring there had to be a snowstorm here in Wisconsion, but you know what that means for me. Lots of baking with my toddler. After my toddlers nap, I made myself a cup of coffee with my homemade coffee creamer and we got started on the cookies. My toddler would literally bake with me for hours upon hours if I gave him the option. It’s one of his favorite things to do and he’s getting so good at it. Of course he had to sneak some cookie dough too. LOL. If there is one thing, I would suggest doing with your toddler, it’s including them when you bake or cook. Yes, it takes longer but they’ll have so much fun doing it! Today made the perfect day to whip up a batch of these super simple chocolate chip cookies. Making for a perfect treat for my family and a perfect recipe to share on my blog. I’m so excited to share this recipe with you guys! It’s so good!

How To Store Cookies
These cookies are the best when eaten fresh so if you plan on making them for a birthday, holiday, or any special occasion, I suggest making them a day in advance at the most.
If you’re making them for your family only you can keep at room temperature or freeze them if you’d like.
- Room Temperature: If stored correctly these cookies can last up to one week. Store in a dry airtight container away from heat.
- Freezer: Lay cookies flat in a freezer safe plastic bag for up to 4 months. Thaw at room temperature and reheat if desired.
How To Freeze Cookie Dough
I love doubling up on this recipe and freezing the extra dough. That way when I have guests coming over or simply am craving cookies but don’t want to make them, I have the dough on hand.
Simply shape the cookie dough into even balls and transfer into an airtight container or a freezer bag and freeze up to 3 months.
When ready to bake place the frozen cookie dough on a baking sheet with parchment paper and let thaw for 1-2 hours. Bake as the recipe calls for (350℉ degrees).
