Trying to find the best toddler and newborn Christmas Gifts isn’t always easy. I know because I’ve done Christmas shopping for two little boys.
While it can be really fun shopping for your little ones, you sometimes can feel stuck on what you think they will actually like. having a newborn is especially fun during the holidays it can be difficult to find what your newborn actually needs.
With Christmas right around the corner I thought I would the toddler and newborn Christmas gifts I found this year. Maybe you are running behind on your Christmas shopping and need some ideas for your littles. Or maybe you want to plan ahead for next year. Everything I got my toddler for Christmas
We’ll start with what I got my toddler for Christmas first. I was so excited for Christmas shopping for my toddler this year because since he’s older he is starting to have more likes and dislikes. So, I get to pick out all his favorite things that I know he’ll love, instead of getting him things I’m not sure if he will like or not.
Bath toys
My toddler is obsessed with taking baths. It’s probably one of his favorite things to do. He hasn’t gotten any new bath toys in a while, and I knew he would absolutely love these ones. The whale bath toy lights up and shoots water out the top and the dinosaur one comes with eight different dinosaur’s and they all light up!
Airplanes
My lil boy loves airplanes. He always wants to try and grab them from the sky when he sees them. He’ll even blow them kisses. LOL. This airplane set is a great gift if you lil one loves airplanes.
Gemstone digging kit
Another thing my toddler really likes is rocks. He loves going outside on adventures just to find rocks. This gemstone digging kit will be so fun to do with him. He’s going to love all the fun and shiny colors of these rocks.
Kids camera
Recently my toddler has loved me or my husband taking pictures of him, and he also really likes playing with my Polaroid camera and pretending to take pictures. I figured this would be a great gift for him this year and he’d also really like it once he’s a little older.
Water doodle mat
My toddler loves coloring, and I thought since he always wants to color on everything but paper that this would be a great idea since the colors only color on the mat. It also glows in the dark which is super cool, and I think he’ll love.
Dinosaur play eggs
This toy was a last minute decision toy. My lil boy always wants to play with our real eggs and when I saw this toy I thought it would be PERFECT! He not only will get to play with his own eggs, but he will also be able to try and match the shapes and colors together. This is a really great learning toy for your toddler.
Mega blocks
My toddler has always liked building with blocks. He has a bunch of Duplo’s he loves playing with, but he sometimes has trouble with getting them to go together. These mega blocks are super easy to put together and he will love that!
Glow in the dark race car track
Again, my toddler is obsessed with cars. He will literally watch out the window as cars go by and just say “car, car, car.” It’s the cutest thing. I also have been wanting to get him this because I too think it’s super cool. The racetrack glows in the dark! How fun is that!?
kids shaving and grooming kit
Ever since we mentioned my toddler getting a haircut one day he’s been so excited about it. He lets us pretend to cut his hair with my husband’s razer. He thinks it’s the coolest thing ever and that’s why I thought this would be such a fun gift for him.
Everything I got my newborn for Christmas
It’s so much fun having a lil baby for the holiday season. I absolutely love it. This year for our newborn we decided not to go crazy and get him more than he needed. You really can only get so much for a baby. especially since this is our second boy, and we really didn’t NEED anything specific for him. However, it was really fun picking everything out for him!
Portable sound machine
We already have a plug in sound machine that we have been using for my toddler. So, this was actually something he did need. I love that it’s portable and wish we had this when our other son was a baby too.
Teething toys
I’ve seen so many babies use these tv remote teethers and I thought that when our baby was ready to use teethers he would love it. Our other son always loved our tv remote I wish he had this too! I also think these other teethers will work really well for him.
Penguin wooden wobbler
I always wished I got something like this for my toddler when he was a baby. I think that our new baby will absolutely love this when he is old enough.
Light up cloud rattle
I think this light up cloud rattle will be a great toy for when we are in the car. I aways love to have some toys for our car rides to make sure both our babies are occupied for the trip. Especially if it’s a long ride.
Baby bath
This bathtub was another need. We didn’t have this type of baby bath for our other son so I’m excited to try it out!
Winter hats
Me, my husband, and my toddler all have these matching hats, and I also wanted our newborn to be able to match with us! These same hats still fit my toddler!
Sensory Kleenex box
I absolutely love sensory toys for babies and toddlers. I think that these types of toys are really good for them! This is the first time I’ve ever seen something like this, but I think it will be a great toy idea for when my newborn gets a little older!
Shared gifts
This year we decided to get one shared gift for them since it was a bigger and more expensive gift. Our newborn won’t be able to play with this yet, but it will be so much fun for both boys to play with once he is old enough.
Play couch
This play couch is very similar to a nugget just a cheaper version. It glows in the dark too. I’ve been so excited about this play couch since I ordered it, and I can’t wait for my toddler’s reaction!
Stocking stuffers
I absolutely love picking things out for my littles stockings. It’s so much fun finding fun and cute things to fill their stockings with.
Toddler stocking stuffers
I stuffed my toddlers stocking with some cars and trucks. I also bought some finger toys, and squishes to stuff it with that I know he’ll love!
I also decided to get him a new cup. He is obsessed with cups, so I know this is a good stocking stuffer. and I also bought some of his favorite chocolate and fruit snacks. Everything I bought for his stocking was from Walmart.
Newborn stocking stuffers
For my newborn I decided to stuff his stocking with some crinkle books, his favorite nuks, and a teething toy. I think with how little he is these are the perfect stocking stuffers for him. I also bought all his stocking stuffers from Walmart.
The holidays are so much more fun when you have kiddos of your own. You literally get to create the magic for them. I absolutely love it! I have always LOVED Christmas and to be able to create the magic for them to experience is my favorite!
I am so thankful that we are able to spoil our boys and get them so many fun toys for Christmas. I have absolutely loved shopping for my boys this year and I can’t wait for them to open all their gifts on Christmas morning.
